BNSF 9270, a SD70ACe, leads the Eastbound out of South Anderson Yard with CSX 147, a AC4400CW, following.
It was necessary for a stop in Anderson to set out a Bad Order.

March 15, 2014
While at 73rd street waiting for the Sounthern Pacific westbound loco that I was told was still in SP paint, the CSX 808, a ES44AH, came by leading an eastbound. This had to be one of the longest trains that I have ever seen. Here are a few shots I took of it. 808 is not a good photo but the rest of the photos are.

Ok, here are the photos I took of the SP unit. The first one was taken at 73rd Street and the second was taken down by Pendleton. While I was waiting for the SP train to clear the crossing, another auto carrier train came by on the opposing track. sorry, no photos, but it was an experience.

This was a rather poor representation of the locos I saw a number of years ago in Muncie. Then they were in new paint and looking good. No, I didn't have my camera with me then.

CSX was busy working on May 4th. Damorion took these photos then.

Damorion sez: "At about 3:00p , I figured that I would go out trackside to take photos. This turned out to be a good idea. First, I headed to CP 247, Where I caught CSX Q296, Which had a friendly crew. The Engineer didn't mind blowing the horn multiple times
Afterwards I headed to South Anderson Yard. I Was Just in time to catch the Y121 Crew switching the East end. While listening to the Radio chatter, I heard The Engineer Say that they where going around the DOW. With that said, Back to CP 247 - Go!"

Ok, the battery in my camera picked today to fail. So, I used one of my wife's small pocket cameras. It does still shots very well, but not so much on movement.
Here are two CN locos. CN 8845, a SD70M-2 and CN 2449. a C40-8M.

A FURX GP38-2 number 5560 lease unit was sitting at South Anderson Yard idling in the early evening. I understand it was the leader of a weed burning consist.

Ok, I don't know what this is but I caught it as number 3 loco on an early eastbound in Anderson IN.

I caught a rail grinder on the west side of Anderson on number 2 track heading east. My shots were taken at two crossings where I managed to get a shot of the man measuring the rail.

October 8, 2014 - Early Morning

Damorion Page sez... A grain train goes by with ES40DC 5280. Then the Y121 comes by switching. You can Imagine this being the NYC Greensburg Local, departing South for it's trip, but the line now only stretches as far as Emporia........nothing wrong with a little imagination
