Weather was bad; I didn't get a good look, but here is

February 26, 2007
Still not good weather, but here are two brand new units
BNSF ES44AC 6186 & 6189 at 32nd Street setting out.

March 25, 2007
Railgrinder, Harsco Track Technologies RMSX 1001, was going into overnight storage at South Anderson Yard. It was moving in reverse.

March 27, 2007
Amtrak 810, a GE P42DC was sitting alone in South Anderson Yard. CSX 8756, SD60I ex-Conrail, set the Amtrak off while it was working. Also seen are CSX 8426, SD40-2 and CIW 8307.

While leaving SA Yard, I spotted a couple of men moving a wheelset. Snap.

April 23, 2007
I caught two (2) ex-Birmingham Southern units awaiting pickup in South Anderson Yard. They were marked TANX. It was 640 and 652, SD9 ex-DM&IR units.

Oh, and the last shot of the day, I turned and shot looking east up the ladder.

There just aren'y any good days.
I caught two (2) IC Units westbound at 32nd Street.
They're number 6057 SD40-2 and 3101 GP40.

Two TFM SD70MACs on an eastbound with 1667 as leader.

AC4400CW 4575 pulls eastbound at dusk (isn't it always) at 32nd Street.

SOO 6050 SD60M, red, (5 left on the roster) and SOO 6038 SD60 in white (38 left on the roster) pass by Guide on their way into town.

UP 2945 SD40T-2R Tunnel Motor with a TFM Unit on a dusky day. Photo taken at 32nd Street.

I was waiting for a white KCS unit when CSX 7746, a C40-8W, showed up with an HLCX 8180 - SD40-2, an ex BM Unit, as a second unit. I snapped a photo and then turned to leave. Wait a minute, I thought, this wasn't really enough time for the KCS unit. I went back.

This was it! I waited a moment to get a better shot... and caught the pole in the front of the unit. KCS 683 SD40-2 in white with HLCX 6404 and SD40-2 exSP with an SD45 shell as a second unit.
Oh, by the way, it was raining. Normal.
(Photos taken at Water Street in Chesterfield.)

TFM 1336, HLCX 6329, and a KCS unit lead a "Blades for a Wind Generator" train. This was a very, very , very long train at which it was possible to get several good shots. Photos taken near Ohio and Columbus Avenue in Anderson.

Here is a shot of a TFM as the second unit going eastbound with a stack train at 32nd Street. Ferromex (TFM) 3199 SD40-2 with an SD45 carbody.

NREX 8538 a GE B39-8E eastbound following 2 KCS units. It was RLCX (crossed out) an ex LMX unit.

Number 88 is leaving CI&W after a number of years as it's mainstay.
From 1994 to 2007 it was on the property, but not always in good shape. Photos are at and from Lapel.

To begin with, here is KCSM (Mexico) 4556 an AC4400CW, the second unit on a westbound. The first photo was taken at Chesterfield. Just down the road, the train stopped for a Crew Change at Mounds Road and I caught up with it again. SD70MAC CSX 777 was the leader.

...and here is a close up of the "de Mexico" on the side of the unit.

Buser called to tell me CSXT 2667 was at South Anderson in Seaboard System paint. It was one of the last CSXT units that had escaped painting. Here is CSXT 2667 a GP38-2.

Here is a NS Inspection train at 31st Street in Anderson. NS 5801 is a GP38-3 Rebuilt from a GP50. The end car is the large window Inspection Car.
