While leaving SA Yard, I spotted a couple of men moving a wheelset. Snap.

I was waiting for a white KCS unit when CSX 7746, a C40-8W, showed up with an HLCX 8180 - SD40-2, an ex BM Unit, as a second unit. I snapped a photo and then turned to leave. Wait a minute, I thought, this wasn't really enough time for the KCS unit. I went back.

This was it! I waited a moment to get a better shot... and caught the pole in the front of the unit. KCS 683 SD40-2 in white with HLCX 6404 and SD40-2 exSP with an SD45 shell as a second unit.
Oh, by the way, it was raining. Normal.
(Photos taken at Water Street in Chesterfield.)

TFM 1336, HLCX 6329, and a KCS unit lead a "Blades for a Wind Generator" train. This was a very, very , very long train at which it was possible to get several good shots. Photos taken near Ohio and Columbus Avenue in Anderson.

To begin with, here is KCSM (Mexico) 4556 an AC4400CW, the second unit on a westbound. The first photo was taken at Chesterfield. Just down the road, the train stopped for a Crew Change at Mounds Road and I caught up with it again. SD70MAC CSX 777 was the leader.

...and here is a close up of the "de Mexico" on the side of the unit.

Buser called to tell me CSXT 2667 was at South Anderson in Seaboard System paint. It was one of the last CSXT units that had escaped painting. Here is CSXT 2667 a GP38-2.
