CI&W approaching Lapel
(Photos by Cell Phone)

Randy sez...
I saw an unusually long train leaving the south Anderson yards with CI&W 4295. I counted 28 cars. I sent three pics of it as neared its destination on February 3, 2020.
Feel free to use them on your page and caption them however you like. Randy

April 17, 2020;
On this Rainey day, the Y121 with the 6085 sits on the East end of South Anderson Yard before dropping the cars from Nestle & Pre Strip. After letting them go, they will continue South to switch out the cement plant on the Emporia Secondary. This is the alleged "last day" of the operation of this yard job.

The UP 1943 SD70AH (EMD) in "Spirit of the Union Pacific" paint came through Anderson. I didn't catch it as it was moving faster than I thought.
I would like to put your photo on my web site giving you credit.
1) Adam Scammahorn was kind enought to let me use his photo. He said. Coming through Ansonia at CP189.
Ethan Hopper was kind enough to give me permission to use his photo, he said: My take on Q131 at Daleville.
Note how dark the second photo is. The train was running into night.
